After graduating from Temple University, Yael moved to NYC and started out as an agent at a well respected firm in 1998, and quickly became and remained the top producer for nine consecutive years. In 2007, she opened her own boutique firm, Yael Dunsky Real Estate, which rapidly became a success. Her client base grew quickly, and before long, 90% of her business derived from referrals.
She purchased and gut renovated her own West Village co-op, an experience that enabled her to see the whole process through her clients' eyes, making her better able to empathize with them during the contract signing phase, board interview, and renovation process.
For Yael, it is endlessly rewarding to accompany people through one of the most important decisions of their lives. Something she really enjoys is touring the city with new clients, getting to know their needs and wants and guiding them through the different neighborhoods and particular buildings to best fit their lifestyle and call 'home'.
Even savvy New Yorkers such as landlords call on Yael's expertise before they list, renovate and price apartments, relying on her to find them the most qualified tenants.
With keen prescience, she can anticipate and avoid potential hurdles, thus saving time and money. She knows how to cut to the chase with all parties involved in a deal, and keep the process efficient, painless, and actually a lot of fun.
